Weren't You Paying Attention, You Silly Junkies?

This blog was born out of a collective mind and formed with collective ideas; we hope it will grow out of collective experience. This community project belongs to all of us; it is a place to share your strength, weakness, hope, fears, wisdom, knowledge, and experience. It is a place for you to ask questions and to give answers based on your own experience. It is a safe harbor for those of us both in and out of recovery, as well as for the men and women who are attempting to understand and support us.
Since most of us here have our own blog’s, I have been faced with the question; what should be posted here? My answer is: anything and everything as long as you stick to the guidelines (The Write Way) listed below. Stick to your personal experience, and no subject is too taboo or off limits. Please be fearless in your posting. Every question is important, and all shared experiences are priceless. Everything has a place in this blog.

Watching cartoons as an adult right? I mean I don't want to age myself, but Saturday cartoons had School House Rock. I do remember this run of commercials. If I remember correctly there was one with a teenage girl frying the egg, then flipping out and smashing the entire kitchen.
How about that old made for tv docudrama thing about angle dust and the girl fries her baby or something...
We used to play 'drug dealers' and gather the chimney dust from the muddy basement- that was our angle dust. Ahh, the innocent years. I was about 8
Anyways... I don't really know what you guys are talking about cause I can't view the post at work. I should actually do some work, I guess
I also remember seeing that while watching my cartoons. not only cartoons but it seemed to be on every station all the time. I gues it didnt sink in for whatever reason.
I remember it. I also remember thinking that I couldn't WAIT to get out there and fry my brain up like that with some good dope.
Seriously.
And this is my brain on drugs with a side of bacon.......
Pure Madness!
Eggs, fried or scrambled, were the first dish I learned how to cook. Whenever I saw this commercial I would go cook up a mess of eggs.
We actually did our own version for my "uncle" that lived with us for a while when I was in the 5th grade. Ours involved gluing Cap N Crunch to a piece of cardboard (that was the drugs, the ceral is addictive!) and a piece of bread (the brain) and then it was all messed up together and torn. All that for weed. I was black and white even then.
